Thanks to Mark Koopmans, Stephen Tremp, Elise Fallson, and C.M. Brown for hosting the Re-Introduce Myself Blogfest. The idea of the fest is to re-introduce yourself to your blogging friends. Click on one of their links to find the list of bloggers. Hop around and say hi. Make some new friends and get reacquainted with old ones.

What can I say about myself?

I write in multiple genres.

I’ve never grown up and don’t plan to, either.

My life’s dream is to live on a cruise ship.

I like swords…and knives. My husband sleeps with one eye open.

I belong to an awesome group of SpecFic writers called Untethered Realms.

I just received the final cover of my soon-to-be-released epic fantasy, Jewel of Shaylar, and I love it! I will be revealing it and the blurb on Monday, Feb 25th. If you’d like to help me get the word out and do a cover reveal for me, sign up on the linky list below. There will be virtual cookies and punch involved if you do!

  1. Hi Laura .. I’ve learnt so much about writing – the different genres, ways to tell a story, short stories etc .. Sci Fi .. and Steampunk to name a few … living on a cruise ship – well that’s an interesting thought – Death and Chronos could interrupt many that way … Cheers Hilary

    • Laura Eno says:

I hadn’t thought about Death and Chronos on the cruise ship, Hilary! The harley spinning about the walking track…Chronos making time sputter…sounds like fun! :D

  2. February 25th is my release date for Escapement. :) I’ll shout out for you if you shout out for me. LOL. I’m sending an e-mail out on the first to specific people, you being one of them, but you can post mine another day if you wish. I’m so excited for you. I wish I had a cool group like Untethered. All you ladies rock!!

    • Laura Eno says:

I’d be happy to showcase Escapement, Ciara! I’ve found that no date is sacred anymore. :D
Untethered Realms is awesome! We have one gentleman in there too. :)

  3. You bet I’ll help!
And I’d remove all the cutlery from the house…

  4. So proud to know you, Laura. You are one of the first bloggers I started hanging with and you continue to inspire me. oxo

  5. I’ll be happy to help with a shout out! Yeah, I’d sleep with my eyes open too.

  6. Hey, Laura!
Nice to meet you! I can’t wait to see your cover reveal! Your blog design is beautiful. I’m glad I stopped by. :)

  7. You are such a prolific writer. The other thing that I love about you that isn’t mentioned is you are LGBT friendly. Thank you so much for being you, Laura.

  8. Knives and swords, huh? Count me in for helping with your next release. I actually have an open spot on Spacedock Feb 27th if you’re interested in that. too.

    • Thanks, Mary! I’d love to come back to the Spacedock…if Craze promises to be in a good mood and not toss me out an airlock. ;)

  9. Congrats on the book cover. My dream is to own a summer home in Burlington, VT and a winter home on Longboat Key. I wonder if it’ll ever happen…?

  10. I thinks it’s great when an author can handle multiple genres. Congrats on that.

  11. I knew a young couple who spent the first two years of their marraige working on a cruise ship.

    • Laura Eno says:

Hi Susan! That must have been an interesting way to travel. I don’t want to work on one though, just live on one. ;)

  12. I’d love to do a cover reveal! And the 25th is my regular blog post day so I’ll get more traffic. So you wanna live on a cruise ship, huh? Which line and area do you like best? Does sound rather cool.

    • Laura Eno says:

      Awesome, Nancy! Thanks!
I don’t know if it’s around anymore, but there was a ship called ResidenSea – or something like that. They sold 1,2,or 3 bedroom apartments on the ship and it was supposed to sail all over the world. That would be the life – to have your own house but wake up to a different view every day. :D

  13. Laura, I have a guest blogger on Feb 25. I will FB and Twitter for you, though.

Maybe you should email Carnival and ask them when the SS Jezebel will be launched :)

  14. I don’t ever want to grow up either! It’s lovely to get to know more about you. Man, I should’ve found a way to slip UnRealms into my post today too! :)

  15. Are you a Toys R Us kid?

  16. Best wishes for Jewel of Shaylar, Laura. I’m sorry I don’t have a blog to help you out. Do Chronos and Death ever go on a cruise ship together? I’d love to be on that one, just to watch the fun. Jezebel’s punch would come in handy.

    • Laura Eno says:

You help out just by coming over to cheer, Ron!
Oh, we could sit in deck chairs and sip Jezebel’s punch, watching Death and Chronos and their antics as they mill through the crowd. Lucien should come too, just for extra zing. :D

  17. Happy to help Laura. Thanks for taking part in the hop! Nice to meet you once again!

  18. Nice to meet you again, Laura! I’ve just realised I wasn’t even following your new blog. *hangs head in shame* I’ll rectify that right now!

You could always learn to juggle those knives and swords and become a cruise entertainer! :)

  19. Great to re-meet you Laura. If I can remember correctly, I think we connected last via the chocolate blogfest…
    You are one of the rare literary species… a multiple genre writer… it’s a super-special phenomenon! :)
I think that, from time to time, every adult needs to “let go” and tap into that “inner child”… maybe we’ll be less stressed out…
    New follower!

    • Laura Eno says:

Hi Michelle! It’s so hard to keep track of people, isn’t it? I’m really bad about losing people! I’m glad we bonded over chocolate. Thanks for the follow. :D

  20. Hi, Laura,

SO wonderful to re-meet you… LOL. You are truly everywhere. I love the fact that you never want to grow up…. WHY would you? THE adult world is a SCARY place. At least we are safe and happy in our own words and safe in our blogosphere.

CONGRATS on you new novel. I am more than happy to help spread the word!

    • Thank you so much, Michael!
It is a scary place. I suppose as writers we try to make sense of it all while rearranging it as entertainment.

  21. Hehehe, love the comment about your hubs and sleeping with one eye open :)

    ……..dhole

  22. can’t wait to see your new cover!!! holding up signs for you :D

  23. can’t wait to see your new cover!! congrats

  24. You know, people always talk about living on castles and such, but a cruise ship! That sounds like a great plan.

    • Laura Eno says:

Hi Faith! A cruise ship seems like a sensible cure for my wanderlust. ;) Thanks for stopping by!

  25. Not growing is a totally worthwhile life goal and I wish you success in achieving it. As for your husband sleeping with one eye open, that’s probably considerably more comfortable than sleeping in full body armour. :)

Looking forward to the cover reveal.
