Chocolate, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Welcome to the What’s Your Chocolate? blogfest! Make sure to visit the blogs listed at the bottom of this post for a whole lot of chocolatey goodness to satisfy your (virtual) sweet tooth. I’m not responsible for any cravings you might be subject to, though.

One of my favorite ways to eat chocolate is the fondue. Dipping slices of banana, strawberries, cheesecake, or marshmallow into melted chocolate is the best!

And who can resist hot fudge on top of a sundae?

And chocolate truffles. I’ve never had the pleasure of meeting a rat from South Park before, but if he was a chocolate truffle, I’d eat him.

And there’s always my fantasy chocolate. Can you imagine Jimmy Thomas covered in the sweet stuff? Lickable!

My personal stock

I’ll leave you with that thought. Tell me in the comments now, What’s Your Chocolate?

  1. I’ve heard that likability and lickability are remarkably similar in both spelling and concept. I’ll leave Jimmy Thomas to you, and maybe I’ll look for a chocolate Bar Refaeli. [see what I did there?]

    Anyway, I wrote about M&M’s®

  2. I totally forgot about the fondue. There is this restaurant in DC that has little balls of peanut butter to dip in the chocolate fondue. One of the best thing I have ever tasted.

  3. Saying hello from the blog hop…I mention fondue in my post too! Those are such cute truffles. Mmmm…now I feel like a post-midnight snack.

  4. Hi Laura .. delicious ice-cream … chocolate fondue – I’ve never had one … chocolate truffles – now they are delicious … love the photos – drooling chocolate day .. cheers Hilary

  5. Oh those sundaes look so good. Thanks for co-hosting, this is going to be a very difficult day to get through without giving in to temptation! (Lol… says the woman who’s just forgotten she ate 2 squares of 81% chocolate before she opened her laptop!)

  6. Those chocolate truffles are so cute, but a chocolate covered Jimmy Thomas really grabbed my attention :)

  7. Yes, definitely Yummy on the last photo ;) I always tell my hubby if men tasted like chocolate, they’d be extinct.

  8. I was doing all right until that last one!!! Although I read Marta’s comment and it’s got me to thinking…

  9. I am a bit like you and cannot make my mind up on one thing!

  10. [...] oh-so-talented Mary Pax, Brinda Berry, Ciara Knight, Laura Eno are hosting a What’s your chocolate blog-hop today. I’ve already visited several, but [...]

  11. I would definitely not like a chocolate-covered man. He would be all, “The chocolate’s gone; now for the main event.” And I would be all, “The chocolate’s gone.”

  12. I’m going to have a drooling issue, this blogfest. I can feel it :)

  13. Marta might have a new book idea on her hands~
Wow, you picked some rich n’ decadent choices!
I love the playfulness of fondue, yum~
Mine would be, the Slutty Brownies I googled and made

  16. I never did like the South Park rats, but as a truffle? Maybe. LOL

  17. I’m disappointed that you did not have a picture of Jimmy Thomas covered in chocolate. Sigh. Nonetheless you got my imagination going! Happy Chocolate day Laura!!!

  18. Oddly, I don’t do sundaes too often. Those are mighty cute truffles, though!

  19. Laura, I like dark chocolate with raisins, dates, figs, or prunes. I’ve never licked it off a good-looking guy, but I’m sure I’d enjoy doing it.

  20. Love the eye candy with the candy and treats. Yum.

  21. My husband and I adore chocolate fondue. One of our fave restaurants is The Melting Pot.

  22. My chocolate is Dark Chocolate, with coffee, white wine or Spanish sherry (Harvey’s) . You had to put that last photo in just to tweak our imagination. . . hmmm.

Thanks for hosting the chocolate blogfest with your friends!

  23. Wow, Choccyville is a living breathing dimension, filled with fondue, sundaes, truffles and other types of eye candy!
A great blog hop – thanks Laura.

  24. I love a good chocolate fountain.

  25. Melissa Bradley says:

I love fondue and love to dip pineapple, blueberries and bananas. There’s a place called Jill’s Sweets which does a dipped chocolate skewer of blueberries. Yum!

  26. I absolutely love this blogfest, great one to be participating in! Gossh those sundays look really delicious!

  27. Melt in your mouth chocolate truffles. I love ‘em! And sundaes. I’m gaining weight just visiting posts for this blogfest! *LOL*

  28. Those little choco rats are cute! I used to make all kinds of fun shaped cakes with my boys, which, of course were topped with chocolate icing.

  29. I had chocolate fondue once… just once. I suffered, but I tried every piece of fruit that was offered with the chocolate. My taste buds did accept the banana and chocolate combination, but I did end up just eating the fruit as it was… If I did like chocolate, I would say the pictures you posted would be tempting.

    • Hi Capillary. My daughter has never liked chocolate either. Taste buds can be strange things sometimes.

  30. Tami Clayton says:

Oh, chocolate fondue, I had forgotten all about you! Strawberries and bananas are my favorite to be dipped in chocolate. And a good hot fudge sundae with your favorite scoop of ice cream is delightful, too. I’m craving one right now…

  31. YUM!!!! Love me some fondue. Specially with strawberries!! :) I like bananas, too! :) Great post!! :)

  32. Fondue is yummy. Mixing chocolate with ice cream is double trouble.

  33. Who could resist… after this blogfest I’m going to be in need of a lot of chocolate:)

  34. Yes, please, to all the chocolates you have featured. :)

  35. Fondue is amazing, and yet it makes me feel queasy REALLY fast ;) I’ve only ever had it once, though.

Nice post :D even nicer blogfest. woo!

  36. and I just realised I forgot to post another of my fave chocolate stories – in Switzerland, eating dark Swiss chocolate and fresh, huge strawberries in the same mouthful. AWESOME.

  37. You’ve left us with the most delicious thought I’ve seen all day. Thank you, Laura. And thanks for co-hosting.

    xoRobyn

  38. Yummeee! I am so close to going on a chocolate binge:)

  39. Fondue is the best!!!! What a blast we’ve had today. I’m so tired after eating a chocolate chip cookie and a chocolate croissant this evening. I missed dinner, but yes, I had sweets. :)

  40. You sound like a real chocolate officionado! LOL! Love the sound of the choclotae fondu and sundaes especially. (Not keen on cheese fondu though!)

  47. fondue is awesome!
i have a swiss friend here who had this crazy fondue machine, though that time he used it for cheese
would have loved to try chocolate out of it……….

  48. Right now I’m at a hotel drinking a Cafe Mocha Latte. It’s okay, but a chocolate bar would be better!

  49. This post made me hungry. I’d love a sundae right now.

  50. Yes, I’d eat one of those cute chocolate rats. We had a chocolate fountain for my son’s graduation, fondue in motion.

    • Thanks for stopping by, Leslie! Lovely chocolate pouring down a fountain is a sight to behold. And those rats are kinda cute. :D
